Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 28 April 2026
1. Our Commitment
Aurea Futura LTD is committed to ensuring that My Tour Platform is accessible to all users, regardless of ability or disability. We strive to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, as recommended by the UK Government and the Equality Act 2010.
We believe that everyone should be able to use our tour management platform with ease, and we continuously work to improve the accessibility and usability of our Service.
2. Accessibility Features
My Tour Platform includes the following accessibility features:
Structure and Navigation
- Semantic HTML5 markup with proper heading hierarchy (h1, h2, h3) for clear document structure.
- ARIA landmarks (
role="main",role="navigation") to help assistive technologies identify page regions. - Consistent navigation across all pages.
- Skip-to-content functionality where applicable.
- Descriptive page titles that uniquely identify each page.
Visual Design
- Sufficient colour contrast ratios between text and background colours, targeting a minimum of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text.
- Responsive design that adapts to different screen sizes, from mobile devices to desktop monitors.
- Text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
- Information is not conveyed by colour alone; icons, labels, and text provide additional context.
Interaction
- All interactive elements (buttons, links, form fields) are accessible via keyboard navigation.
- Focus indicators are visible on interactive elements when navigating with the keyboard.
- Form fields include associated labels and descriptive placeholder text.
- Error messages are clearly communicated and associated with the relevant form fields.
- Buttons and links have descriptive text that conveys their purpose.
Content
- Images include alternative text (alt attributes) describing their content or purpose.
- Tables include appropriate header cells and scope attributes for screen reader compatibility.
- Language of the page is declared in the HTML (
lang="en"). - Content is written in plain, clear English.
Technical
- Valid HTML5 and CSS3 markup.
- Progressive Web App (PWA) support for installation on mobile devices.
- Compatible with modern web browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and their built-in accessibility features.
- Compatible with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).
3. Known Limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of the following limitations:
- Dynamically rendered content: Some parts of the application use JavaScript to render content dynamically (e.g., tour management views, real-time updates). While we use ARIA attributes where possible, some dynamic content updates may not be immediately announced by all screen readers.
- PDF documents: PDF reports and expense exports generated by the platform may have limited accessibility. We are working to improve the structure and tagging of generated PDFs.
- Third-party content: Revolut checkout pages and embedded third-party services are outside our direct control. We rely on these providers to maintain their own accessibility standards.
- Complex data tables: Some tour management views display complex data in table formats that may be challenging to navigate with screen readers on smaller screens.
- Drag-and-drop interactions: Where drag-and-drop is used, alternative keyboard-accessible methods are provided where feasible.
4. Browser and Technology Compatibility
My Tour Platform is designed to work with the following technologies:
- Browsers: Google Chrome (latest), Mozilla Firefox (latest), Apple Safari (latest), Microsoft Edge (latest).
- Operating systems: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android.
- Screen readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android).
- Input methods: Mouse, keyboard, touch screen, voice control.
